CBD oil-infused, hemp-based, or hemp seed oil toothpaste is hot recently.
We also call it CBD toothpaste. These are made from cannabis and have a relaxing effect that also gives a slight cooling sensation. If you prefer to be able to taste the difference, you can also use organic peppermint oil or other flavors.
Peppermint is used in some kinds of toothpaste and gels to stimulate saliva production and therefore prevent plaque buildup and cavities. A little bit of peppermint oil can easily make either a sticky gel or a gel that stays on teeth for a couple of hours.
Hemp Industry Daily
Now I want to share with you the news from Hemp Industry Daily. In late July 2020, EU Commission revised the stance on the WHO cannabis scheduling vote as it leans toward CBD as a narcotic.
If the Commission’s new stance is formally adopted, hemp-derived CBD would no longer be considered food, would fall outside the scope of the bloc’s novel food regulation, and could be banned from the EU market.
When the CND votes in December, 13 of the 53 countries casting ballots will be members of the European Union:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- France
- Germany
- Hungary
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Poland
- Spain
- Sweden
While the UK’s Food Standards Agency said the nation’s Home Office has not changed its view that CBD extracts themselves are not considered narcotics.
When you’re doing your own marketing for your private label CBD toothpaste, you have to be careful to only market it in countries that don’t consider CBD extract to be a narcotic!
